Keshia Knight Pulliam To Be Married Soon; Former Child Star Shows Off Engagement Ring!
Did former child star Keshia Knight Pulliam just get engaged and is set to be married soon? If so, that is indeed a way to ring in the new year in quite a literal sense.
Pulliam, who was known for her portrayal of Rudy in "The Cosby Show," took it to her Instagram account on Thursday, Dec.31, a photo of her showing her engagement ring as she is kissing her fiance. Now who's the lucky guy? It's former NFL player and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Ed Hartwell, according to US Weekly.
"Happy to spend not only my new year but my life with this guy!!!" goes the caption of Pulliam's Instagram photo with the hashtag "#BlessedBeyondMeasure."
Hartwell appeared on the "Real Housewives" for two seasons while he was still married to cast member Lisa Wu, according to People. The pair eventually divorced in 2012.
Pulliam is remembered as the little girl who portrayed the role of Rudy on "The Cosby Show," alongside Bill Cosby, which ran from 1984 to 1992. Recently she was cast in the seventh season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" in 2015, from which she was the first contendet to be eliminated in the series for the said season.
Keisha Knight Pulliam already posted an engagement ring photo on Instagram prior to the "getting married soon" news that just sprouted up recently. Although she didn't mention the news on the particular post, few fans have noticed the ring and left comments. The caption of the IG post goes: "Happy New Year!!! The champ is here!!! "Getting married" news aside, Keshia Knight Pulliam recently opened up to Access Hollywood about the sexual abuse allegations against his former TV dad Bill Cosby. "Ultimately, I really can't speak to that," she said. "can only speak to the great man that I know and that I love, who has been so generous, who has been such a philanthropist and giving back millions of dollars to education and to schools... and just the man I grew up knowing."
