Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Back Together? Actress Rumored Dating Patrick Dempsey

Amidst several sightings of the former couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer together, it seems like the two are not getting back together and have only decided to remain as friends for their children.

Moreover, reports claimed that while the divorce continues to push through, Garner is only trying to keep Affleck by her side at the time to help their children adjust to the separation that started June last year.

"This more seems like a transitional period," a source quoted in People magazine. "They interact every day. Mostly about the kids and simple things. Jen wants Ben around for the kids."

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, who were together for almost ten years, have been reportedly caught going out together on various occasions following the announcement of their divorce.

While the news continued to make headlines recently, US Weekly reported that they are only together for their children's sake and nothing more.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner is rumored to be dating the 49-year-old former "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey following her split up with Affleck. According to one source, the dating began when the actress had asked Dempsey out to have coffee.

"They've been friends for years, it was only natural for them to confide in each other." the source explained. "As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them. Jen was relieved and excited."

The source added that Garner and Dempsey have known each other since 2009 after they had worked together in one movie, adding that they actually looked good together and "had a great chemistry."

The "Batman V Superman" actor, on the other hand, who was accused of dating the family's nanny when he and Garner were still together, is also rumored dating his fellow co-star Kate Beckinsale.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner dated in mid 2004, got married in 2005, and announced they were divorcing in June 2015. The former spouses are parents to their three children Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
