The said app help users track their sport and fitness activities while utilizing GPS technology, Powersong, Geotagging, and a Real Voice Coach (among many other features) to help motivate them reach their goals.

The app keeps users alert with highly accurate, hyper-local forecasts, with customizable alerts. Dark Sky sells for $3.99, according to the source.

Another essential iPhone app that's free and is a must-have is Cheatsheet. This app helps new users of iOS 9 remember the assortment of information they need to take in mind, such as access codes, Wi-Fi passwords and the likes.

Another essential app that new iPhone owners and iOS 9 users must have is Find My iPhone, a free app which helps set up a remote wipe for your phone in case it gets stolen or just mistakenly gets lost, as stated by USA Today
