'No Man's Sky' Gameplay Revealed And Explained; Game's Release Date Expected To Come In June?
"No Man's Sky" gameplay has been revealed and explained by the game developers, according to iDigital Times.
"No Man's Sky" is one of the most ambitious indie games for a while now given how the game showcases the deep space exploration in addition to the fact that players can visit 18 quintillion different worlds in this game.
Sean Murray, Hello Games founder and programmer, has revealed that only a few of the planets might be discovered in a few days after the game's launch. He added that a lot of other planets might be left undiscovered by the players.
While "No Man's Sky's" gameplay shows great promise, it is rumored that the game might come to the Xbox One and will have Virtual Reality features, according to Crossmap.
It was first reported that the game will be a PlayStation exclusive and also coming to the PC. Chris Charla, the Xbox Director, has shown interest in the game coming to the Xbox One console.
In addition, some game websites speculate that the reason for game's delay may be due to Sony preparing for it to be released together with their VR headgear, which is Project Morpheus.
Sean Murray hinted that "No Man's Sky" might be coming to other VR headsets but his answers were indirect.
"I don't know what I'm allowed to say, it's something we're thinking about. Morpheus, Oculus..," answered Murray in an interview by Gamesradar. "There's nothing more cool and sci-fi than VR and a big procedural universe."
"I think that, for the people who want to just explore, and even for the space combat and things like that, it would be a good fit," he continued. "Let's put it that way."
Some speculate that his statement hinted a confirmation of the VR feature.
Aside from "No Man's Sky" gameplay, the release date of the game will be sometime this June, according to Gospel Herald.
It will be released on both the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
