'Final Fantasy 7' Remake Characters Will Be Fully Voiced; New Game Updates Revealed!
"Final Fantasy 7" remake characters will be fully voiced, according to Trusted Reviews.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase spoke to Dengeki PlayStation and discussed about the new features, which are coming soon on the new remake of the popular classic game.
They have revealed that all of the characters from the game will be fully voiced and some of the voice actors will be coming from the "Advent Children" movie.
"Basically, it will be fully voiced," Nomura explained. "We still haven't decided the voices of the characters that weren't in 'Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.'"
It was also revealed that the dating events in the old game will be fully voiced too, which Kitase laughed about, according to RPG Fan.
He, however stated that since gamers now live in a different time and "social situation," they needed to improvise and change some parts of the events carefully.
Square Enix's game development team who is handling the remake right now promises that the game will be a "straight remake," according to Cross Map.
The "Final Fantasy 7" remake will have most of its characters, the original story, features and more, but it will not be just a remaster where graphics have higher definition. This time around, the game will be reinvented from the start.
Some fans have expected that the remake will be split into multiple parts, according to sources. Some of the fans did not like the idea, but the others understood quickly the reason.
The game developers explained that the game is large enough so when it is on a bigger scale, one part of it will not be enough. They promised that fans will expect a bigger world compared to the PS One version.
Aside from the fact the "Final Fantasy 7" remake characters will be fully voiced, the game developers right now are focusing on the creation of the environment more.
"We can't say anything yet, but we don't plan on fussing about whether it's a so-called open-world or sandbox," said Kitase. "But since Nomura is more focused on the creation of the scenery, we want to express an environment where character actions affect the scenery."
