'Orphan Black' Season 4 Teaser Released; Series' Story To Go 'Back To The Beginning'?
"Orphan Black" season 4 teaser was released on Dec. 25.
The science fiction series that's starred by Tatiana Maslany featured a video trailer along with a synopsis. It stated that fans"will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all, Beth Childs," according to Us Weekly.
"Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction," the description continued. The pressure of keeping her sisters safe and protecting them, will be the cause for her old habits to reoccur.
"As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better."
Fans were curious of the newly released "Orphan Black" season 4 teaser. The clip only showed a "creepy image" of an eye that left them wonder who's the owner of it and began to speculate on the possible events that clones might have started to monitor each other, according to /Film.
The last season of the series ended in June, which was also reviewed by IGN's Max Nicholson who said that it was "consistently great, save for a couple episodes including the finale that were only just okay," according to IGN.
"The ending, he said, wasn't as strong as the first two finales, but "it did set up some intriguing thread to follow in season 4," the statement continued.
Along with Maslany the cast also includes stars like Jordan Gavaris, Kristian Braun and Maria Doyle Kennedy.
The series writer and co-creator, Graeme Manson shared that the upcoming season will focus on stories "back to the beginning" as Ari Millen's character, Mark will appear as another male clone.
The "Orphan Black" season 4 teaser is a hint for the series' comeback in April 2016.
