The iconic singer-songwriter Madonna is in a custody battle with her ex-husband filmmaker Guy Ritchie over their son Rocco, who was rumored to be tired of tagging along with her mother on tour, according to sources.

Madonna must have been elated over the newest reported box office sales from her recent "Rebel Heart Tour," which spanned 14 performances from her global trek, as stated by Billboard.

It was estimated that the box office revenue from all eight markets totals $22.6 million stemming from 194,827 sold tickets at 14 shows, and the total aggregate sales from Madonna's "Rebel Heart Tour" was $80 million from 45 concerts, during her first two legs of the circuit, as reported by the source.

It was also reported that after the culmination of Madonna's "Rebel Heart Tour" in Europe on Dec. 20 in Glasgow, the tour will resume in North America starting in Mexico City on Jan. 6, 2016 for a pair of shows. After that, Madonna will swing over to the US and then do a series of shows over in Asia, which is then scheduled to end in Sydney on March 20, 2016, courtesy of the source.

As such, it was rumored that Madonna's son, Rocco, was sick of tagging along with her mother during her hectic world tour, and that the Thanksgiving they celebrated in Barcelona in the middle of the "Rebel Heart Tour" might have been the final straw for the 15-year old, according to TMZ.

Recent news has unveiled that Madonna was really upset when she found out that her son refused to depart from his dad's residence in Britain to join celebrate the holidays with her in New York, as reported by Philly.

In addition, it was reported that Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan issued an order that the 15-year old must return to New York after Christmas, to be in time when school resumes again, as stated by the NY Daily News.

"I'm directing the child to be returned to New York," Justice Kaplan said. "If he wants to stay with his father, he must return to his mother," she added, courtesy of the source.
