Xbox One Games' 'Countdown' Sale Announced; Deals Revealed!
Microsoft recently announced that they're having a "Countdown" sale for Xbox One and 360 games on their website.
The promo will run from Dec.22 until the 28th and will also have daily offers that will start on the same day up to Dec. 31. Microsoft will also post more items on Dec. 29 to Jan.7.
These offers will give Xbox Live Gold members an opportunity to take advantage of the additional 10 percent discount on every item. The full list of offers were posted and detailed on the source's website , according to Major Nelson.
Gamers will be able to avail some of the several deals offered such as "Rise of the Tomb Raider" for $40, "Rare Replay" for $25, "Grand Theft Auto V" that costs $42 and "Batman: Arkham Knight" for $32.49.
Also included were "Ori and the Blind Forest" that sells for $10, "Dragon Age Inquisition" for $18, "Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition" for $40, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" for $30 and "Madden NFL 16" that costs $24, according to GameSpot.
Aside from Xbox One, the company will also include Xbox 360 games in the sale such as "Call of Duty: Black Ops III Bundle" with 40 percent discount for $29.99, "Dragon Age: Origins" for $5.24, a 50 percent discount for both "Dishonored" and "Forza Horizon" selling for $9.99 and "Saints Row IV" that costs $8.74, according to BGR.com.
The daily deals for "countdown" event varies every single day. Recently, few items were up for grabs like "Need for Speed" for $24, "Popcap bundle" for $15 and Xbox 360's "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit" for $4. Interested gamers were advise to check on the site's link in order to download and purchase the updated items.
Aside from offering discounted items for their gamers, the company also announced that several movies and TV shows were up for sale. Despite the recent promo, services like CBS All Access, Sling TV and Crunchyroll offered a free one-month trial for consumers.
Xbox One bundles were still offered for half of its original price of $299 and will be available until Dec. 26.
