"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" DVD Release Date Announced? Available On Google And iTunes?
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" DVD and Blu-ray release date announced and it will be out in 2016.
This is for the fans who would like to watch a movie marathon in the comfort of their own home. Lucasfilm and Disney allegedly announced that the movie will be available in stores in 2016.
Retailers such as Amazon already sells the Blu-ray version online for $25 however, hasn't posted the on when it will be rolled out. While, JB Hi-Fi announced that a DVD as well as Blu-ray will be available on April 20 for their consumers, according to Tech Times.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" DVD and Blu-ray release date was estimated and will be on April 5, 2016. While it's still on theaters, fans can also opt for the digital versions via iTunes and Google Play before it arrives. The estimated roll out for Apple's service will be on March 15, 2016 for $19.99, according to Gotta Be Mobile.
Google Play will offer SD quality for $14.99 and an additional $5 for the HD. Best Buy Digital will cost $24.99 and Microsoft joined the bandwagon for $14.95 for both resolution.
Aside from the movie copies, its comics and books versions will allegedly be available on April 2016, according to FilmGamesEtc.
As of the moment, it was reported that retailers decided to sell 2D pre-order copies instead of the 3D variant. However, since Google made a partnership with Amazon they kept silent on when the roll out phase will start. The former said that once the company approved on a certain period, consumers will be alerted through an email.
