NBC's 'Telenovela' Has Eva Longoria Reuniting With Ricardo Chavira; Her 'First Love' Revealed?
NBC's "Telenovela" star, Eva Longoria announced that reunion with "Desperate Housewives" husband, Ricardo Chavira on the show and revealed who were the people behind her stylish looks.
Her former onscreen husband made an appearance on the new series and a confirmation via Twitter stating, "He's amazing and still my first love," according to International Business Times.
Ricardo Chavira was her husband on "Desperate Housewives" series whom she had constant arguments with in the drama for eight seasons.
On the new show, her character in the series likes sexy looks as shown on a preview aired on Monday night. She was wearing an emerald green dress with a revealing neckline and rocking Brian Atwood's high heeled metallic platform that peeked through her slit, according to Footwear News.
During her appearances, it was revealed that her outfits were styled by designer, Janie Bryant and fans will expect her rocking glamorous gowns in the comedy series.
It was the first 30 minutes comedy series environment for Bryant that she found different from other drama series in terms of design and mood. She said during an interview, "I met Eva and she's just lovely," according to People Magazine.
"She's an incredible business woman, she's really smart, she has amazing comedic timing, she's beautiful, and she loves glamour," the statement continued. "I mean, I couldn't have asked for a better actress to work with than her, really."
Her participation on NBC's "Telenovela", garnered positive feedback along with her fellow cast member, Jencarlos Canela that shared that the actress is "one of the most incredible human beings" he met, according to International Business Times. The former "Desperate Housewives" actress got him to join into the comedy series.
She played the role of Ana Sofia Calderon, which is the ex-wife of Jencarlos Canela's character, Xavier Castillo. The comedy series was created by Chrissy Pietrosh, Robert Harling and Jessica Goldstein. It features stars such as Amaury Nolasco, Diana Maria Riva, Jose Moreno Brooks and more.
The NBC 40-year-old "Telenovela" star, Eva Longoria recently got engaged with Jose Antonio Baston, Grupo Televisa president, 46.
