Melissa McCarthy Weight Loss Details Revealed; Promotes Clothing Line for Plus-Sized Ladies!
Melissa McCarthy of "Bridesmaids" revealed how she worked for her 50 pounds weight loss and clothing line inspiration.
The actress attended the premiere of her upcoming comedy movie with Paul Feig titled "Spy" where she was snapped in a picture rocking her new look.
It was reported that her over 22 kilograms weight loss was her goal this year. During the 2015 Holiday event, she wore a black top with crystal detail, black pants and pumps that was all from her label.
Melissa McCarthy revealed that her weight loss took six months. "I truly stopped worrying about it. I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, overdoing anything," she said according to Examiner.com.
"I kinda went back to when I was pregnant and I just stopped constantly being worried about it, and I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked. I could've figured that out before 44, but whatever," she added.
She also shared her inspiration for her collection in an interview with More Magazine and said, "People don't stop at size 12," according to Food World News.
"It's an odd thing that you can't go shopping with your friends because your store is upstairs hidden by the tire section," she added.
The "Gilmore Girls" star, Melissa McCarthy's fashion clothing aims to reach plus size ladies for an opportunity to look good and fabulous. The clothes from her collection, Seven7 costs from $50 to $150 and will cater sizes from four to 14.
"I feel like there's a big thing missing where you can't dress to your mood above a certain number," the "Bridesmaid" actress said according to Inquisitr.
She believed that women clothing shouldn't be filtered compared to other manufacturers who tend to give more importance to petite size consumers. She stressed an information that in the U.S there is a dominance in number for girls who were in size 14.
