Rain is making a comeback this January, his label announced.

34-year-old South Korean artist Rain finally staged a three-day series of concerts in Seoul after four years. Korea Joongang Daily reported Monday that the concert series became a success after attracting over 15,000 fans who came to watch Rain perform on stage.

Reports have revealed that the series of concerts was concluded on Saturday wherein the South Korean entertainer also shared his future plans for his career.

"I turn 35 years old next year. I'm still young, and I think I can sing and perform on stage for two or three more years, but it's physically challenging to perform like this," Rain said. "So I'd like to stop singing [dance songs] while my body is at its best. It's too hard to keep in shape. It doesn't mean that I will stop signing. [But instead] I'll sing ballad songs."

He went on, "I'll do a film, a drama series and release an album. A concert tour to the States is also part of my plan."

Further reports have revealed that the South Korean singer performed hits including "It's Raining" and "How to Avoid the Sun" during his concert series.

Rain was quoted saying that this concert is "very special" to him, as noted by Yonhap News Agency Nov. 4.

"I'll put in my all to make it up to my fans who have been waiting for me for so long," Rain said.

The three-day concert series was held at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium from December 11 to 13. The concert was called "THE SQUALL 2015-2016 Rain".

Rain, Jung Ji Hoon in real life, began his singing career in 1998 as a member of boy band called Fanclub. He debuted as a solo singer in 2002 with his first album entitled "Bad Guy," wherein he was also established to the media as Rain.

The South Korean singer has a total of six Korean albums and one Japanese album. Aside from singing, Rain also entered the acting industry in 2003.
