Galaxy Gear S2 3G Available In The US!; Company To Delay Samsung Pay For 2016?
Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 3G was officially introduced to the United States market.
It was reported that the new smartwatch has garnered positive reviews from its users. They find the device easy to operate and also compatible with their S6 Edge handset. Along with a data connectivity, has a NumberSync feature that is compatible with AT&T services, according to ZDNET.
The NumberSync option allows users to make and receive calls or text even without their phone. By using the smartwatch alone, they can still communicate as if it is their handset.
Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 3G design has the home and back buttons at the right edge, that are capable of pulling up a task on the display screen with a simple long hold or double pressing it. Users can navigate the apps without touching the display considering it is 1.2 inches in diameter, according to Android Central.
The smartwatch costs $300 and was equipped with AMOLED screen panel for a brighter and sharper resolution. It also has a an outdoor mode that can detect a natural daylight and automatically adjust the brightness needed.
Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 3G also has a GPS functionality, together with a built-in microphone and speakers. The smartwatch was reported to have the appearance similar to normal 20mm wrist watch that comes in color gray.
Reviews have been released that users find it efficient to use that they no longer need to use their phone to check their notifications. They can even reply to a message through it by using the device's speech-to-text feature.
