American rock band "Eagles of Death Metal" have returned to Bataclan concert hall for the first time, to pay their respects since the deadly attacks in Paris last month, according to BBC.

On Nov. 13, gunmen stormed the building and killed 90 people, including the band's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander.

The band laid flowers and stood outside in concert hall in heavy rain for approximately 10 minutes as they read tributes to the dead at a makeshift memorial site, revealed The New York Times.

Reporters waited for hours for the band due to rumors of their possible return to the capital to accompany the Irish band, U2. The crowd cheered and clapped as the members of "Eagles of Death Metal" arrived. Co-founder and frontman, Jesse Hughes offered no comment, stated Rolling Stone.

The band posted on Facebook that their return was prompted by an invitation to join U2 onstage. The band joined the Irish group at the end of their sold out gig at the AccorHotels Arena, Monday night.

"The bad guys never take a day off, and therefore we rock 'n rollers cannot either and we never will," the band wrote. "We are incredibly grateful to U2 for providing us the opportunity to return to Paris so quickly, and to share in the healing power of rock 'n roll with so many of the beautiful people (nos amis) of this great city."

U2 had postponed their Paris shows on Nov. 14 and 15 due to France's nationwide state of emergency.

"We love you, Paris," said lead singer, Jesse Hughes before performing Patti Smith's "People Have the Power." The band rocked out in front of an audience of more than 16,000 at the arena, which is less than two miles from Bataclan.

In an interview with Vice and HBO, Hughes mentioned that the "Eagles of Death Metal" would like to be the first to play at Bataclan when it reopens and the owners of the concert hall could not agree more.

"I want to be the first band to play in the Bataclan when it opens back up because I was there when it went silent for a minute," said Hughes. "Our friends went there to see rock and roll and died. I'm gonna go back there and live."

The band's Facebook note concluded that they will continue their tour in 2016.
