Pixee Fox Removes Six Of Her Ribs; Internet Sensation Now Has A 16-Inch Waist!
Swedish-born model, Pixee Fox had six of her ribs removed in an attempt to look like a real life cartoon character and to break the world record for smallest waist, according to Fox News.
"Rib removal has been a dream of mine for years," Fox told FOX411. "I want to have the exaggerated curves you see in pin-up cartoons."
The extreme model has already spent $120.000 on plastic surgeries to look like her favorite Disney characters, Tinkerbell and more recently, Jessica Rabbit, revealed People.
"I've always been inspired by cartoons and Disney movies - all the curves and tiny waists," Fox told Barcroft TV.
Pixee Fox has had a nose job, brow lift, eyelid surgery, four breat surgeries, a brazilian butt lift, permanent makeup, lip and cheek fillers and the most recent $9,000 surgery to remove six of her ribs.
Some worry about Fox's mental health and says the procedure is unethical.
According to Dr. Barry Eppley, to some rib removal is almost an urban myth that dates back to the 70s. Music superstar Cher was rumored to have had it.
Dr. Eppley is the Indiana-based surgeon who performed the procedure on Fox. He explained that parts of the eleventh and twelfth ribs were removed during surgery and a small part of the tenth rib which protects the kidneys. The doctor added that he would not recommend the surgery to athletes.
"I just did a rib removal surgery on another woman after Pixee who removed even more ribs than her," told Dr. Eppley to Fox411. "It just seems extreme because it is the only plastic surgery other than liposuction (that removes) normal body parts, so it seems extreme."
Most doctors refuse to perform the surgery, but Dr. Eppley gladly accomodated Fox's request.
"There's nothing complex, extraordinary, or unduly difficult about it," said the doctor. "It does require an extremely motivated patient."
In order to achieve the look she wants, Fox wears a corset 24 hours a day and now has a near-record breaking 16-inch waist, reported Radar Online.
Pixee Fox is happy with the results and in a few weeks, the model will be getting "hip and butt implants."
