K-R&B Legends Brown Eyed Soul Return with First Album in 6 Years - September 2025 Release Confirmed

K-R&B powerhouse Brown Eyed Soul will end their six-year hiatus with a new album release, their agency Long Play Music announced Wednesday.
The vocal group plans to drop their new album by September 2025 at the latest, with recording nearly complete. This marks their first release since 2019's "It' Soul Right."
Brown Eyed Soul is simultaneously preparing for a year-end concert alongside the album release, signaling their full return to active promotion after the extended break.
The four-member group debuted September 17, 2003, with "Soul Free," featuring the hit "Jeongmal Saranghaesseulkka" which topped KBS charts. They quickly established themselves with tracks like "My Everything," "바람인가요" (Is It the Wind?), and "비켜줄게" (I'll Make Way).
During their group hiatus, members flourished individually. Naul released his solo debut "Back to the Soul Flight" in 2005 and has worked as a music professor at Korea Nazarene University. JungYup launched his solo career with "Thinkin' Back On Me" in 2008, contributing numerous drama OSTs.
Their last album "It' Soul Right" showcased diverse Black music genres spanning from 1960s Motown to contemporary R&B. Known for their sophisticated live performances, the group's return has fans wondering what musical direction they'll pursue after their creative break.
With K-R&B experiencing renewed interest, Brown Eyed Soul's comeback could be perfectly timed to reclaim their throne as Korea's premier soul vocalists.
