K-pop sensations debut new album tracks during sold-out three-night spectacle at Gocheok Sky Dome

NCT Dream launched their fourth world tour with a bang, selling out three consecutive nights at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome from July 10-12, 2025. The concerts, officially titled "THE DREAM SHOW 4: DREAM THE FUTURE," drew 60,000 fans and served as the perfect launch pad for their fifth studio album.

This marks NCT Dream's fourth solo concert series at Gocheok Sky Dome, giving them the record for most performances at Korea's largest indoor stadium with 12 total shows. All three dates sold out rapidly through Melon Ticket, demonstrating the group's massive popularity.

The timing was strategic. NCT Dream released their fifth full-length album "Go Back To The Future" on July 14, 2025, just two days after the final Seoul show. The concerts served as an exclusive preview platform for the new material.

The album features nine tracks with double title songs "BTTF" and "CHILLER". During the concerts, fans witnessed the live debuts of both tracks. "BTTF" (Back to the Future) opened the show with its signature synth bass and time-travel theme, while "CHILLER" appeared during the encore segment.

The show was structured around five thematic segments representing different temporal periods: Future, Past, Utopia, Dystopia, and Absolute Present. This concept aligned perfectly with the album's time-travel narrative.

Setlist Highlights:

  • Future Section: BTTF, Ridin', ISTJ, BOOM
  • Past Section: We Young, Dunk Shot, Candy
  • Present Era: Hot Sauce, Diggity
  • Finale: Off the Wall, Rocket

The production included elaborate stage design with moving platforms, LED screens spanning 105 meters by 18 meters, and costume changes that reflected each time period.

Mark appeared with newly dyed blue hair, telling fans "It's been a very long time since I've returned with blue hair." The group minimized talking segments to maximize performance time, a decision that resonated well with audiences.

Standout moments included Jaemin and Jeno's shirtless performance during "STRONGER," which generated massive crowd reactions, and Renjun's solo introduction to the dystopia segment.

The concerts reached international audiences through live screenings in over 90 venues across Japan, Hong Kong, and Taipei, with the July 12 show broadcast live on Japan's KNTV.

The tour continues with major stadium shows across Asia, including Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium (August 16-17), Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium (August 30), Jakarta International Stadium (September 27-28), Singapore Indoor Stadium (October 18-19), Taipei (December 6), and Kuala Lumpur (December 13-14).

This Seoul opening proved NCT Dream has successfully evolved from their fresh debut concept into mature performers capable of commanding Korea's biggest venues while maintaining their signature energy that first captured global attention.
