ENHYPEN Releases Final Mood Board Images For New Album ‘DARK BLOOD’
The popular K-pop boy group ENHYPEN recently posted the final mood board images of their upcoming 4th mini-album titled Dark Blood. This release of the album and its glimpse of concept has speculate fans that the group comeback will be filled with rich content for fans to enjoy. The album is expected to hit stores and music platforms on May 22 KST.
The "NEW" version mood board has 3 images with red as its common color. One of the members can be seen standing among the red flowers and filling the red space. The second and third images repectively have red eyes and red butterfly shapes.
This version and including the previous mood board "FULL" and "HALF" have phrases written in English, which lead to speculations of what story concept ENHYPHEN is telling through this album.
ENHYPEN is a South Korean boy band that was formed in 2020 through the reality survival show "I-LAND." The group consists of seven members: Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. They are managed by BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment.
The name "ENHYPEN" combines the words "EN" and "HYPEN," with "EN" standing for "enhance" and "HYPEN" representing the connection between the members and their fans. The group's concept is centered around the idea of "making each other better" and "discovering a new self."
ENHYPEN made their debut on November 30, 2020, with the release of their first mini-album "Border: Day One," which features the title track "Given-Taken." The album was a commercial success, debuting at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and topping the iTunes Top Albums charts in over 30 countries.
