EXO Member Kai Announces His Upcoming Military Enlistment
It was announced by talent management company SM Entertainment on May 3 that EXO member Kai will be enlisted for mandatory military service this month. The company did not reveal his enlistment location as well as the time as of press time.
Their statement said the following: "Kai was preparing for EXO's comeback for this year, but because of a recent change in regulations by the Military Manpower Administration, he's set to enter the army recruit training center on May 11. He'll receive basic military training, and he will then serve as a public service worker."
Kai, born Kim Jong-in on January 14, 1994, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and dancer who is a member of the popular K-pop boy group, EXO. He is widely regarded as one of the best dancers in the K-pop industry, known for his powerful and precise dance moves.
