Even After Their Breakup, Dawn Admits that he Still Loves HyunA

On Friday, Kpop singer Dawn was in the show 1theK original Look Me Up and shared things in regards to his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, HyunA, admitting that he still loves her and will continue to do so.

Upon reaching on the topic of the breakup, he expressed that "We will support each other no matter what kind of choice is made. Even now and at that time, I wanted to fully respect her choice and support her by pressing 'Like' (on the Instagram post announcing their breakup). We broke up but I will do the same thing if the same thing happens now."

When the interviewer asked Dawn, "Do you still love her?", his answer was this: "I'm the same actually. Whether I break up with HyunA or get back with her, it doesn't matter what we are, I just love HyunA as a person. So, even if we take totally different paths and end up with other people in the future, I'll still be in love with HyunA."

The singer also opened up his proposal to HyunA and said that it was a misunderstanding. "We were not planning to get married or anything. I didn't propose to her to get married. It was just because I like her so much. Of course, I had the idea that she would be the person I marry if I get married in the future but at that time, I just wanted to give her a ring. I just wanted to. Common sense is that if you give someone a ring, you're engaged, it's natural. But I'm actually lacking common sense." He said.

I relation to this, he did not disprove multiple articles and opinions saying that the both of them should get married because "I thought marriage was a later matter and I thought it'd be awkward to say 'I'm not getting married (in response to the articles)."

HyunA dated Dawn and have been together for six years. It was a major shock to fans when both artists announced their break-up in November 2022. There were numerous rumors that HyunA and Dawn are back dating. Emotions and opinions over this reconciliation were mixed.
