‘One Piece’ Netflix Live-Action Series Releases New Visual, Series to Premiere in 2023
Netflix recently released a visual of the its Hollywood live-action series adaptation of the popular manga series One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. The visual also revealed that the show will premiere in the streaming platform in 2023.
Another visual was also posted on the Netflix's page of the series that feature the main cast and the Going Merry ship.
This upcoming adaptation will star Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy. Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emmy Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, Vincent Regan as Garp, Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore, Steven Ward as Mihawk, Craig Fairbrass as Chef Zeff, Langley Kirkwood as Captain Morgan, Celeste Loots as Kaya, Chioma Umeala as Nojiko, Colton Osorio as Young Monkey D. Luffy.
Netflix will exclusively stream the series and confirmed to have 10 episodes. The manga's creator is credited as executive producer.
The live-action adaptation will cover the manga's East Blue arc and the story is expected to broaden from there according to series producer Marty Adelstein.
