Remixes of Girls’ Generation’s ‘Forever 1’ was Released by SM Entertainment’s EDM Label
ScreaM, the EDM label of Korean talent company SM Entertainment recently released remixes of Girls Generation's 7th album title song Forever 1. Remixed tracks were done by Aiobahn, Mar Vista, and Matisse & Sadko.
Forever 1 is the seventh album by popular girl K-pop group Girls' Generation. It was released on August 5 in digital and on physical released on August 8, 2022. The album's release is SM Entertainment's way to commemorate the group's fifteen anniversary. Fans were delighted upon the release of the album as the group went into a hiatus after the release of the sixth album Holiday Night which was released in 2017. The latest album contains 10 tracks, this includes the lead album title song Forever 1.
Girls Generations's comeback was officially announced by SM Entertainment on May 17, 2022 and this officially ends the group's five-year hiatus. One of the members Sooyoung also teased on the tvN show Take Care of Me This Week that the group will be releasing their seventh studio album. Kenzie, the song writer behind the songs Oh!, All Night, and Into The New World returned to write the songs for the seventh album.
Girls' Generation or SNSD debuted on August 2007. Dubbed as the "The Nation's Girl Group", the group originally consist of nine members: Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun, and Jessica. Jessica left the group in September 2014. The are one of the longest active girl K-pop groups to date.
The first single that rose them to fame was their song Into the New World. This was then followed by the catchy single Gee which remained on KBS' Music Bank charts for nine consecutive weeks. It is also Melon's most popular song of the 2000s decade. Other top songs are The Boys, Gee, Oh!, and Run Devil Run.
