ITZY, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, & BTS Have Been Nominated For The 2022 MTV VMAs
The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (known henceforth as the VMAs) have announced their list of nominees. K-Pop fans are hyped as a plethora of their favorite stars were among the nominated.

On the 26th of July local time, MTV officially announced the nominations for this their yearly award ceremony. Notably, a plethora of K-Pop artists was nominated.
In particular, BTS took home nominations in four categories. This makes them the most-nominated group of this year's awards.
Furthermore, beyond being nominated for Best K-Pop, the K-Pop boy group is also nominated for Best Choreography (with "Permission to Dance"), Best Metaverse Performance (with Minecraft), and Best Visual Effects (with "My Universe" alongside Coldplay).

It should be known that BTS has won at every MTV VMAs for the previous three years.
On the other hand, the members of SEVENTEEN have been nominated for three different awards this 2022. The K-Pop boy group is up for Best New Artist, Push Performance of the Year (with "Rock With You"), and Best K-Pop (with "HOT").
BLINKs were also happy as the members of YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK were also nominated for Best Metaverse Performance (with PUBG). Maknae Lisa was also nominated separately for Best K-Pop (with "LALISA").
2022's nominees for Best K-Pop are TWICE's "The Feels," BTS' "Yet to Come," ITZY's "LOCO," BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA," SEVENTEEN's "HOT," and Stray Kids' "MANIAC."
K-Pop fans should mark their calendars as the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcasted live on the 28th of August 28 at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on MTV's website.
