The Miracle Of New Life: 2PM’s Chansung Is Now Officially A Father

Recent reports have stated that 2PM's Chansung has now become a father after his wife gave birth to a baby girl.

After the reports were released, L'July Entertainment confirmed the news as the agency stated, "Hwang Chansung's wife recently gave birth to a girl. Both mother and the child are in good health."

Notably, in December of 2021, 2PM's Chansung surprised fans by announcing his marriage to his longtime girlfriend. The idol also revealed that he and his fiancée were expecting their first child at that time. Chansung then added that he would part ways with JYP Entertainment.

In 2PM Chansung's letter, the idol expressed, "There is someone who I have been in a relationship with for a long time. This person has been the resting place for my unstable heart and a friend who I can share anything with for a long time, and she became my girlfriend."

The 2PM member added that while he was planning the marriage with his then-girlfriend after his military discharge, the blessing of a new life came to them earlier than expected. Thus, they were planning to get married as early as the beginning of the following year.

Moreover, the wedding was scheduled for early 2022, but plans were paused due to the pandemic. Additionally, Chansung signed an exclusive contract with L'July Entertainment previously in March. But the idol still plans to continue his activities as a member of 2PM and as an actor.
