Samsung Partners Up With BTS For A New Global & Eco-Friendly Campaign!
Starting in 2021, Samsung has been teasing netizens and fans with their next collaboration with their Global Ambassador, K-pop superstars BTS.

Fans believed it was Samsung's BTS K-pop versions for their Galaxy phones based on teasers. Samsung then kept releasing teasers leading up to the yearly Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. On the 28th of January 28 morning, Samsung Mobile made a mysterious tweet.
Furthermore on the 9th of February, Samsung had the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, and they revealed all of the new devices and products for 2022. This included a special guest feature from BTS, the K-pop stars themselves.
Though to the surprise of fans, BTS did not introduce a new phone. But instead the K-pop boy group went on to introduce something more important, a new global campaign called "Galaxy for the Planet."
"BTS and Samsung Galaxy share a powerful message about protecting our planet. Let's rethink the life of a product and work together for a better future," Samsung revealed.
Additionally, they had BTS Suga's remix of Galaxy's iconic "Over the Horizon" playing and each member of the K-pop boy group held up signs that went on to inform viewers on the global crisis regarding the environment.
On the newsroom page for Samsung's website, the company released more details on what they are doing to help save the world. The company shows that it is possible to not just evolve with technology, but still also care for the environment.
Samsung revealed, "Samsung is committed to addressing ocean plastic pollution in a way that will positively impact not only the environment but also the lives of all Galaxy users."
Netizens and K-pop fans are extremely proud of both BTS and Samsung for showing so much initiative for taking better care of the planet.
