Adele Graces Vogue's Latest Issue And Addresses Her Unsuccessful Marriage With Simon Konecki
Ahead of Adele's comeback, the songstress graced the cover of Vogue Magazine where she opens up about her previous marriage with charity boss, Simon Konecki.
In a rare interview, the very private Adele opens up about her relationship with ex Simon whom she shares one child, Angelo. There have been multiple rumors as to why Adele and her husband divorce, pointing that Adele's success was the biggest factor why the marriage broke down.
Now, Adele has finally revealed the real reason behind their divorce. According to her, the marriage was not working anymore. "It just wasn't... It just wasn't right for me any more," Adele shared to Vogue.
She then reveals that she was not miserable, but she knew that there will come a point that she would be, and so she did not want to get to that point. Instead, she made the decision to divorce her husband instead.
"After going through a divorce, my requirements are sky-high. There's a very big pair of shoes to fill," she added.
Adele also revealed that in her new album, she has a song dedicated to stuff that happened in terms of why her relationship broke down, she also cited her son as a reason. She explains that she wanted her son, Angelo, to know how to treat his partner when he grows up.
Despite the rumors that Adele and her ex, Simon had a bitter end to their marriage, Adele made it clear in her interview that they never fought over their son or anything else in the marriage. She just did not like the fact that Simon had to dismantle his entire life for her happiness.
This coming week Adele will be releasing her comeback single, "Easy On Me", and fans cannot wait for her full album. The release of her album has yet to be announced.
