Ed Sheeran's "Bridget Jones' Baby" cameo has been confirmed!

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer shared a photo from the behind-the scene happening with the main star, Renee Zellweger. The captured moment was shared to his 5.4million followers on Instagram with the caption, "Spent the day being an actor in the new Bridget Jones movie. Loved it, you're gonna love it too," according to Daily Mail.

Ed Sheeran is going to have a cameo in the upcoming sequel movie "Bridget Jones' Baby" and was in London on Monday doing the filming with the cast. The 24 year old singer has won several awards for his contribution to the music industry and is also making his way into the film industry, according to Telegraph.co.uk.

The "Bridget Jones' Baby" is a sequel to the "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason" movie released in 2004. The difference of the new movie from the previous one is it will be based on the columns of the author, Helen Fielding instead of getting reference from her last novel.

The "Bridget Jones' Baby" cast will include stars like Colin Firth who will play Mark Darcy together with the leading lady, Renee Zellweger as Bridget Jones.

The film is about Bridget Jones funny experiences as she enters her 40s. Alongside with the main characters, Ed Sheeran will be playing a fictional character or himself.

His movie appearance was first rumored in August when a film crew was seen filming during his concert in Ireland and at the same time a double of Zellweger was spotted sitting on an unknown man in the audience.

Ed Sheeran has been trying his way into acting this year by doing brief appearances in "Neighbours" and U.S sitcom "Undateable." The singer also landed a role for "The Bastard Executioner" that lasted for six episodes.

"Bridget Jones' Baby" will be released on Sept. 16, 2016, according to CTV News.
