ONCEs Proud As JYP Entertainment's TWICE’s Reaches A Recent Milestone!
August has been a busy month for TWICE as JYP Entertainment's K-pop girl group has been raking up a huge amount of laurels under their belts! Recently, TWICE once again reached a milestone, and ONCEs (the name of TWICE's fandom) could not have been happier!
Notably, JYP Entertainment's TWICE has been consistent in its reign as one of the top K-Pop girl groups of the third generation. The nine-member K-pop girl group from JYP Entertainment recently gained 42,242 new followers for their official Twitter handle.
At the time of checking, TWICE has also held the title of the most followed female K-Pop artist on Twitter with 8.5 million followers. 500 thousand more followers and each member of TWICE can be represented by 1 million ONCEs each on Twitter.
Not far behind JYP Entertainment's TWICE are the girls of BLACKPINK. Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa have over 41,918 new Twitter followers for their group's official Twitter account. Meanwhile, trailing at third place is SM Entertainment's Red Velvet with 34,114 new followers.
Beyond topping Twitter, TWICE has recently set YouTube ablaze, as well as another one of TWICE's music videos, has reached a certain milestone!
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 28th of August at around 11 p.m. Korean Standard Time, the music video for TWICE's "Dance the Night Away" has gone beyond 300 million views on YouTube.
The music video was dropped on the 29th of July, 2018, which means that it took about three years and a little over a month for TWICE to achieve this.
TWICE's "Dance the Night Away" is their eleventh music video to reach 300 million views following "TT," "Likey," "Cheer Up," "Like OOH-AHH," "What Is Love?", "Heart Shaker," "FANCY," "Feel Special," "YES or YES," and "I CAN'T STOP ME."
