Fans get to enjoy Ji Chang Wook's acting last year thanks to dramas like "Lovestruck in the City" and "Backstreet Rookie." Now, the beloved South Korean actor is reported to be in talks to lead an upcoming K-drama.
On July 8, Ji Chang Wook's agency Glorius Entertainment shared some good news to fans who are eagerly waiting for a new Ji Chang Wook Korean drama. In an official statement, Ji Chan Wook's Glorious Entertainment clarified various reports about Ji Chang Wook's future projects.
"Ji Chang Wook was offered a role in 'Tell Me Your Wish', and he's currently reviewing it," Glorius Entertainment explained.
The story of the drama "Tell Me Your Wish" will revolve around people who dream of "dying well." Additionally, the drama will also share stories about salvation that takes place in the hospice ward. If Ji Chang Wook decides to accept the offer to lead "Tell Me Your Wish," he will take on the role of Yoon Gye Ri who is a man doing his best to run away from death.
As of the writing of this article, no other details regarding the upcoming drama are confirmed yet.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is confirmed to star in the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular webtoon "Annarasumanara" which is written by Ha Il Kwon. Ji Chang Wook will portray the role of Lee Eul who is a magician putting on shows to people believing in magic. Starring alongside Ji Chang Wook for "The Sound of Magic are Choi Siung Eun and Hwang In Yeop. The drama will run for six episodes and will be released on Netflix.
