Taeyeon’s Music Video For Latest Single ‘Weekend’ Hits 4 Million Views On Its Release
The latest single of Girls' Generation member Taeyeon titled "Weekend" was officially uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday, July 6. Just a few days in and the video has now garnered more than 4 million views. Many netizens were delighted and happy that Taeyeon is now back with a catchy and upbeat song.
"Weekend" will be a disco-pop genre mix with some retro synth sounds and delicate guitar. It is a song that expresses one's desire to get away from the repetitive life routine and just go out to a place where you want to go with high and free spirits. This will also be the first song that you will get to hear Taeyeon rap. Taeyeon became a member of Girls' Generation in 2007, which is considered as one of the longest active K-pop girl groups to date. She is also associated with SM Entertainment's other projects such as "SM the Ballad," "Girls' Generation-TTS", and "Girls' Generation-Oh!GG."
