BTS Member Jimin Shares His Playlist With His Fans
South Korea's largest online music service, MelOn music shared a playlist compiled by BTS member Jimin on July 2. This was done through "MelOn Station", its original audio contents service. Previously, Big Hit Music and Melon announced that they have formed a partnership for an original radio broadcast called "MelOn Station" to launch the "BIGHIT Music Record" series which is exclusive to Big Hit Music artists. The first batch of artists announced for this series are none other than the members of the hit K-pop boy group, BTS.
In relation to the mentioned broadcast, Jimin became a radio DJ for a day and shared this favorite music with his fans. He shared that he loves to listen to music when he is alone and he shared some of his songs to his fans to bring peace to their hearts when they are walking alone, alone inside a care, or just doing absolutely nothing for the day. He shares that he always wanted to share these songs with his fans especially in these hard times when it's still uncertain when the COVID-19 pandemic will be over.
The name of Jimin's playlist category is "songs to listen to when you are alone." The first song that was played was "Coffee Shop" by Barbra Lica. The song "A Song About Being Sad" by Rex Orange Country was included in the list. "The lyrics are extremely fun. It makes me wonder what they are trying to express", he said as he explained why the song is part of this list.
The song "In Return" by Breakbot was also played. He said that this is a song that he really liked and it was a healing song for him. As he went on with his playlist, many fans were happy when he said: "When people are alone, a lot of the songs they listen to tend to be depressing or bring down the mood. But when you are alone, isn't it okay to get a bit emotional? That's why I listen to these songs, which are really songs that help me sleep. So, I would love it if you can all enjoy them too".
Many people agreed and loved Jimin's picks in the playlist and they hope that they would get more recommendations from this very talented artist in the future.
