It was reported that a Japanese animator working for the popular anime studio Studio MAPPA has recently resigned from the company due to poor working conditions.

The animator under Twitter handles MUSHIYO (Mushiyo07) said that that they are now currently working in another anime production company and no longer connected with MAPPA. The tweet translated from Japanese says: "I don't know why I worked hard to join the company, I don't know why some of the employees were sprinkled outside or stray. Work week, after work week, after work week, after work week. Would you like to fix it until morning? ?? One of the reasons I decided to quit."

Some users, however, did not believe the story and asked clarification from the animator if they were just transferred to another project and not leaving MAPPA. Mushiyo made it clear, however, that they are no longer connected with MAPPA, and working there was a huge mistake.

The animation studio MAPPA is heavily praised by anime fans recently due to their successful anime adaptations of the final season of "Attack On Titan" and Shonen Jump's popular manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen." Both anime series finished airing this year.

"Attack on Titan" is an anime series based on the popular manga series of the same name created by Hajime Isayama. It premiered in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on September 9, 2009. The anime adaptation's first season premiered on April 7, 2013. The manga was such a massive success in Japan that it had won awards such as the Kodansha Manga Award, Harvey Award, and the Micheluzzi Award.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" debut in the Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. The manga has so far sold 36 million copies, both physical and digital release. The manga popularity has paved the way for an anime adaptation that premiered in Japan on October 2, 2020, and it will have 24 episodes in total.
