Confirmed: Han Ye Seul To lead Upcoming Romance Drama
Earlier today, South Korean news outlets reported that Han Ye Seul was cast to lead an upcoming romance drama.
Not long after the news broke out, a representative from the agency of the A-list actress confirmed the news. According to a Partners Park representative, Han Ye Sul accepted the offer to appear in the romance drama with the working title "Goodbye Romance."
"It is correct that Han Ye Seul will be the lead for the drama 'Goodbye Romance'," Partners Park representative said.
"Goodbye Romance" will be directed by Kim Sang Ho, who is also the mastermind behind "A Man and A Woman (2005)," "Hyangdan (2007)," "Possessed (2009)," "Can You Hear My Heart (2011)," "Arang and the Magistrate (2012)" "When a Man Loves (2013)," "Hwajung(2015)," "Fall From The Sky (2017)," "Spring Turns to Spring (2019)," and most recently "Money Game (2020)." Aside from the mentioned dramas, director Kim Sang Ho has also worked with Han Ye Sul for her hit 2006 MBC drama "Couple or Trouble."
According to reports, "Goodbye Romance" will revolve around the psychological war of love that occurs in the process that a man and woman go through from being longtime friends to lovers. Actress Han Ye Seul is offered to portray the role of Joo Chan Hee, who is a woman that is contemplating dating and marriage.
Meanwhile, Han Ye Seul recently revealed her relationship to the public by posting a photo of her and her boyfriend. The actress made headlines as her boyfriend is 10 years younger than her.
Han Ye Seul's most notable roles include playing Sara for the 2015 SBS drama "Birth of a Beauty." The 39-year-old actress also starred as Ko Hye Rim for the 2016 JTBC drama "Madame Antoine: The Love Therapist." Han Ye Seul's most recent drama is SBS's "Big Issue" in 2019.
