2PM's Junho and Lee Se-young Officially Booked For Historical K-Drama
Junho will portray Yi San, a meticulous and proud descendant of the King and the eldest grandson of the King. Yi San puts in relentless effort in order to become a strong and wise leader, but he has been traumatized by his father's death. When he encounters the confident court lady Seong Deok Im, however, he unintentionally reveals a romantic side he didn't realize he possessed. Yi San will one day become King Jeong-jo of Joseon, and in the end, he will be torn between preferring icy logic as a leader of one country and romantic love as a single individual.
Junho was praised for his consistent acting and ability to adapt to any genre. His first initiative since being discharged from mandatory service in March will be "The Red Sleeve Cuff." As Junho transitions from a level-headed dictator to a man in love, viewers are eagerly awaiting his transformation into Jeong-jo Yi San.
Lee Se-young will play Seong Deok Im, a court lady who prefers to make her own choices rather than being one of the King's many ladies. Within the palace, where urgent political matters often arise, Seong Deok-im, who will one day become the royal noble consort Ui of the Seong clan, searches out tiny moments of personal happiness. Her life, which had previously been quiet, is turned upside down when she encounters Yi San.
Viewers are eager to see Lee Se-young play the court lady Seong Deok-im, who can make even Joseon's King fall in love with her due to her thorough and professional acting.

In the second half of 2021, we will welcome viewers with a proper conventional romance drama directed squarely at their cores, so please look forward to it."
Lee Se-young began her career as a child actress, with "Kairos" being her latest work in 2020.
2PM debuted as an idol boy group under JYP Entertainment, with many members diversifying their talents. Asides from Junho, Taecyeon was recently featured in one of the most highly rated cable dramas in South Korean history, Vincenzo.
