KCON:TACT 4 U Is Finally Official!

KCON is a global convention and music festival dedicated to Korean pop culture and entertainment, with concerts featuring prominent K-pop bands. Countries such as the United States, France, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, and others have hosted the convention.
KCON has produced KCON:TACT, the world's first-ever online K-Culture Festival, in response to the social distancing measures provided due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With over 4.5 million online viewers from 153 different countries, KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER was the first online-exclusive event revealed in June 2020. KCON:TACT also integrated new technologies into the show, such as MR (Mixed Reality), XR (eXpanded Reality combined with AR and VR), and smartphone Augmented Reality (AR), to improve the audience experience and enable fans to engage with the artists more effectively.
After the outbreak of COVID-19, KCON has moved its conferences online, as interactive "KCON:TACT" activities planned for the summer and fall of 2020, as well as March of this year.
Live concerts, live meet-and-greet sessions, behind-the-scenes material, artist and influencer partnership contents, and influencer panels similar to those seen at KCON events will all be part of the programming. Artists and influencers will be involved in the highly immersive programs, with fans able to connect with them through live video chats, live polls, and more. The live streams will have a fully immersive environment using cutting-edge VR and AR technologies, allowing fans around the world to get ever closer to their favorite celebrities.
The organization formally revealed on May 10 KST that its fourth KCON:TACT, dubbed "KCON:TACT 4 U," will take place for nine days. While further information, including this event's artist roster, is yet to be announced, KCON has released a teaser video for the event, which was uploaded on Mnet's official YouTube channel.
