EXO’s Hit Song ‘Love Shot’ Surpasses 400 Million Views On YouTube
Popular K-pop boy group EXO has reached another milestone as their hit song titled "Love Shot" has surpassed the 400 million view mark on the popular video streaming platform, YouTube. A recent report confirms.
The video officially hit the mark on April 19, around 5:25 am Korea Standard Time. This is so far the group's first-ever music video to reach this incredible milestone. The song was released on December 13, 2018. This means the music video has already reached this milestone in just more than two years. Many of the fans are thrilled about this great achievement, and they are looking forward to what upcoming songs the group would have next in the future.
EXO is a South Korean-Chinese K-pop boy band group that made its debut in 2012. The group consists of the following members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. Their previous members consist of Luhan, Kris, and Tao. EXO is managed by SM Entertainment and Avex (Avex Trax.)
The group debuted with their single titled "Mama," released on April 8, 2012, which was then followed with an EP with the same name a day after. During the release of the single and EP, they were still under sub-groups Exo-K and Exo-M.
Their first album was released on June 3, 2013, titled "XOXO." It was a tremendous commercial success, and this skyrocketed EXO to fame. The said album was released in two versions in Korean and Chinese. During the release of this album, it was already jointly promoted, unlike during their debut year.
Their hit single "Growl" was such a massive hit that it reached number 3 in the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 and also ranked at 2 in the Gaon Digital Chart. EXO had their first reality show titled "Exo's Showtime," which premiered on November 28, 2013.
From their debut until the present, EXO continues to be one of the most popular K-pop boyband groups in the industry today.
