There seems to be no stopping the hit K-pop girl group BLACKPINK as their 2020 hit song, "Lovesick Girls," have surpassed more than 400 million views on the popular streaming website, YouTube. A recent report confirmed.

"Lovesick Girls" was released on October 2, 2020, and was composed by Teddy, Loren, Danny Chung, and BLACKPINK members Jennie and Jisoo. Teddy, 24, Brian Lee, Leah Haywood, R. Tee, and Davide Guetta were credited as producers. This was released after their other hit song, "Ice Cream," which was also released in the same year and was performed by BLACKPINK and popular US artist Selena Gomez.

The song immediately reached 61.4 million views on YouTube in just the first 24 hours after its release and has become BLACKPINK's 9th most-watched music video in their channel. Their most viewed video as of presstime is their dance practice video to their hit song, "How you like that," which has over 500 million views as of press time. Officially, 9 out of the ten music videos released by the group have already surpassed more than 400 million views.

It was only recently that the group had reached another milestone as a report confirmed that the group's official YouTube page has already surpassed 60 million. The channel reached its subscriber count as of April 13, KST.

The group was the most-subscribed-to female artist of all time and surpassed American female artist Ariana Grande's subscriber count. They, later on, exceeded the subscriber counts of famous Western artists like rapper Eminem, Ed Sheeran, and DJ Marshmello. They are officially the second most subscribed-to musical artist in the world to date, just right after Justin Bieber.

BLACKPINK officially debuted in August 2016 and released its first single album titled "Square One." The songs "Boombayah" and "Whistle" were included in this album and gained massive success in the music charts.
