BTS Expresses Love For ARMY After Big Win At 2021 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards
BTS, a prominent South Korean boy band, did not fail to express their love for their fans once again after achieving another milestone from this year's Kids' Choice Awards (KCA) by Nickelodeon. They were able to win in all of their three nominations.
The group, which just came from a heartbreaking loss at the 2021 Grammy Awards, was recognized as the Most Favorite Music Group and the Most Favorite Global Music Star. Their song titled "Dynamite" also received the Most Favorite Song honor.
As BTS received their recent awards virtually, they did not forget to express gratitude to all of their supporters for their unwavering and unending support. They also said that they already miss performing in front of them.
"We love you, and we miss you... you guys are the best," the boy band stated.
Aside from BTS, Nickelodeon also recognized other shows and personalities. "Stranger Things" was hailed as the Most Favorite Family TV Show, while "SpongeBob SquarePants" won the Most Favorite Animated Series award.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande won the Most Favorite Male Artist and the Most Favorite Female Artist awards, respectively. Robert Downey Jr. also won Most Favorite Movie Actor, while Millie Bobby Brown brought home the Most Favorite Movie Actress trophy.
BTS was the only musical group that won three awards during the 2021 edition of Kids' Choice Awards. It was considered a sweet victory for them since they just came from a loss that made the rounds on social media. It can be noted that the K-Pop sensation was defeated by the powerful collaboration of Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande during the 2021 Grammy Awards.
A video of their reaction during the awarding ceremony also surfaced on various social media platforms. They can be seen hugging each other after their name was not called to receive the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award.
