BTS Gets The Recognition They Deserve, Wows The Grammys And US Media
BTS has gotten the recognition they deserve during their electrifying Grammy Awards performance. The eight-member group looked put well together for their appearance at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
The group who was nominated for a Grammy this year marked history for the K-pop industry as they are the first Korean act to get a nod from the prestigious award show. It was unfortunately not their time as they lose to fellow nominees Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.
They did make their loss a phenomenal one as they perform their hit song "Dynamite" for the Grammy viewers and the entire world.
The group recreated the Los Angeles Grammys set in Seoul to give the show a feeling of continuity. People have praised the group's producers for keeping the show interesting as the group performed in a Grammy-lined room, with a ceiling that had flowers dripping down and a stairwell.
According to Billboards, not one performance comes close to BTS's mobile performance of "Dynamite" and describes it as the most energetic of the evening.
Esquire, on the other hand, believes that the group showed that they are bigger than the trophy. Losing a Grammy is a big deal, but BTS went on to display that their talents go beyond that of a Grammy Award.
Some fans of the BTS have accused the people behind the Grammys of using the group for ratings by nominating them and not giving them an award. During their red carpet interview, the band addressed their loss, saying that they will work harder than ever.
"We'll work hard for this next year as well and we'll be back with great music and performances that you can look forward to," the boys said during their airtime.
BTS is more than happy to be part of history, and they have addressed their first Grammy loss with grace.
