Yuehua Entertainment Receives Backlash For Conducting Audition Amid IZ*ONE’s Disbandment
Yuehua Entertainment had become the subject of discussions on social media after conducting a "speedy audition" on the day when IZ*ONE officially confirmed its disbandment.
Yuehua released some posters on March 10 where it called on young female aspirants to try their luck with the promise of receiving a reply within 24 hours. It was also stated that the audition period would last until March 24.
For interested people, it will be required to submit personal details along with their front-facing photos and a short video that shows their skills.
The much-talked-about announcement was posted on the official Twitter account of Yuehua Entertainment. It already has almost a hundred retweets and 200 likes as of the time of writing.
Based on a report by koreaboo.com, the agency is now receiving negative comments from some IZ*ONE supporters who believe that Yuehua Entertainment had something to do with the disbandment of the popular group.
However, some netizens say that the action of Yuehua Entertainment is not connected to the disbandment since the talent agency had conducted many speedy auditions in the past.
"We are not sure if Yena will be a part of the group Yuehua is trying to make by holding that speedy audition. But if it's for her, then it really shows that they don't have plans for Yena. And now they are rushing it..." a fan commented on the social media platform Twitter.
Meanwhile, IZ*ONE's Miyawaki Sakura is reportedly transferring to Big Hit Entertainment following the group's disbandment. However, the agency disclosed that nothing had been decided yet about the issue.
Many supporters of IZ*ONE are patiently waiting for more updates regarding the members of the prominent Japanese - South Korean girl group that debuted in 2019. They are hoping that the agency's concern will provide them more important information with regards to their idols.
