1TEAM Officially Disbands, Says Agency

1TEAM, a 5-member South Korean boy band that debuted in 2019, has officially disbanded, according to a statement released by the group's agency.

Through a lengthy message reposted by Soompi.com, Liveworks Company revealed that both parties have agreed to end the group's official activities starting March 14.

Without providing any reason for the disbandment, the agency has expressed its sincerest apologies for the sad news that they disclosed to the public. It also thanked the fans for their unending support.

"We appreciate all the love and support you have shown to 1TEAM... Please note that we have put a considerable amount of time into deliberating before reaching this decision," the statement reads.

"After long discussions between the 1TEAM members and Liveworks Company, both sides have agreed to end 1TEAM's official activities as a group on March 14, 2021 and terminate their contract with Liveworks Company as a group," it added.

At the latter part of the press release, Liveworks Company expressed gratitude to all the people from different parts of the world who supported 1TEAM.

The agency also wished nothing but the best for the 5 members of the Korean group who will already be "headed towards different dreams."

"Thank you once again to all the fans worldwide for your love and support for 1TEAM. Please wish the best for the members who will take the next steps in their lives individually... Liveworks Company also wishes the best of luck to all members," it said.

"Please note that all of the official 1TEAM channels including FANSHIP will be closed after March 31," the announcement added.

1TEAM is a prominent boy band in South Korea that debuted with the song entitled "Vibe." Reports say that the group's name means "Unique individuals become new as one."

The members of the said disbanded group are Rubin, BC, Jehyun, Jinwoo, and Junghoon.
