BLACKPINK Unveils Newest Ad With Pepsi
On Thursday, popular K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK unveiled its newest video ad with global soda brand Pepsi. The K-Pop singing sensations are looking glamorous in the advertisement.
Posted on their official Instagram account, the ad featured BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa singing and dancing to the beat with the popular soda brand. They are wearing the colors of Pepsi in the ad that also featured Pepsi's soda can variants.
There were clips of the soda, plus BLACKPINK was also shown drinking the Pepsi soda. It featured the official hashtag, #ForTheLoveOfIt.
BLACKPINK's newest Pepsi ad is part of the campaign of the soft drink company that has signed with BLACKPINK, as announced earlier this year. The K-Pop group is the newest brand ambassador of Pepsi in Asia-Pacific.
"We are excited to welcome international K-Pop group, BLACKPINK, as brand ambassadors for our latest campaign launch in Malaysia and Singapore," Pepsico Asia-Pacific senior marketing director Salman Butt stated.
She added how BLACKPINK "perpetuates a uniquely youthful attitude and zest for life," embodying the soda brand, to encourage music enthusiasts and fans of the K-Pop group in Malaysia and Singapore to try their new offerings.
The BLACKPINK artists were also featured in the "Go All In For What You Love" campaign that aims to encourage the youth to push beyond their limits.
Pepsi also added BLACKPINK's "touching story of grit, tenacity and resilience over the years" has catapulted them to fame, and these are the traits that the younger generation is looking for to inspire them. The campaign also encourages this age group to pursue their dreams and find their inner strength.
In other news, BLACKPINK's Lisa called out to bashers against their hateful and racist comments against the K-Pop star. This singer of Thai origins recently appeared with her co-singers in the group at their live stream concert, "BLACKPINK: THE SHOW."
