BTS, TWICE, Kang Daniel, Stray Kids, And More Win Big At 30th Seoul Music Awards
On January 31st, the 30th Seoul Music Awards took place at the KSPO Dome.
Hosted by Shin Dong-yeop, SNSD's Choi Sooyoung, and Super Junior's Kim Heechul, the 30th Seoul Music Awards recognized the best of the best in the Korean music industry.
Overall, BTS became the most decorated Korean pop act in the awards show after bagging a total of six trophies, including the Daesang (Grand Prize), Best Album Award, Best Song Award, Bonsang (Mini Award), K-Wave Award (outside of Korea), and WhosFandom Award.
Meanwhile, TREASURE, aespa, and ENHYPEN won the "Rookie of the Year" awards.
Aside from the awards given out to deserving K-pop acts, fans were also able to witness sizzling performances from their favorite groups.
In particular, TWICE performed their 2020 hits "MORE & MORE" and "I CAN'T STOP ME" as "OT9" for the first time in 3 months since Jeongyeon's hiatus. Aside from TWICE, SEVENTEEN, NU'EST, MONSTA X, Oh My Girl, ITZY, Stray Kids, TXT, ATEEZ, THE BOYZ, IZ*ONE, (G)I-DLE, aespa, TREASURE, ENHYPEN, Kang Daniel, Jessi, and more performed during the 30th Seoul Music Awards.
