Many fans are thrilled for the upcoming release of Space Sweepers, which is considered as the comeback of Song Joong Ki to the small screens. The film was, supposedly, to be shown in theaters in South Korea. However, as the world continues to face the perils brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the production decided to premiere it on Netflix.

On Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2020, another Space Sweepers trailer was released. The teaser video featured the main cast of the imminent movie, including Yoo Hae Jin, Jin Seon Kyu, Kim Tae Ri, and Song Joong Ki, who all portray as space junk collectors. It was revealed that the team is collecting space junks and selling them to earn money.

Viewers would see Song Joong Ki as pilot Tae Ho, who wants to make more money with the use of the spaceship called "The Victory." Kim Tae Ri would play as Captain Jang, the team leader who uses laser guns during their explorations while Jin Seon Kyu would play as Tiger Park, who is a very affable and outgoing engineer.

Yoo Hae Jin, for her part, would portray as the robot that acquired special kills and has dreams and feelings like regular human beings. The latest Space Sweepers trailer featured Song Joong Ki and the rest of the gang getting shocked after seeing Dorothy - the robot that looks like a child.

Shocked at first, Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, and Yoo Hae Jin later realized that Dorothy could help them generate more money. However, things did not go their way as they, instead, faced several challenges along the way. The teaser clip ended with the line: "These misfits might just save the world."

Space Sweepers would premiere on Netflix in February 2021. Watch the latest trailer below:
