Beyoncé's New Year Treat: Never-Before-Seen Instagram Clip Of Her Three Children
Every Hollywood celebrity seems to have their own creative takes on how they welcomed the New Year. But no one seems to beat how international pop singer Beyoncé celebrated the beginning of 2021 on social media.
The "Black Is King" singer chose to showcase never-before-seen clips of her children with Jay-Z -- Blue Ivy, and her twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
The four-minute video started with footage of a crowd popping confetti in a party, followed by a montage of her photos, endorsements, photos of her children, rapping, messages from her co-stars, and her best moments of last year. There was even a feature of the message of former United States First Lady, Michelle Obama.
Beyoncé captioned the post saying how 2020 both divided and united the world.
"This year for me has been about celebrating joy, chasing happiness, and living in love," the singer wrote.
She wished for people in her life, as well as her fans, to "pray for new beginnings" and honor themselves and their loved ones.
There was a part of the video that featured Rumi dancing to her mom's "Savage Remix," the song that landed her on the charts over the summer. She was heard in the video asking her child, "Did you have a good summer?" to which she answered yes.
There were also outtakes from Rumi and Sir Carter's photoshoot with mom Beyoncé where the three modeled the "Love On Top" singer's collection from Ivy Park and Adidas. There were also clips on their behind-the-scenes moments from the 2020 New Year's Eve.
Beyoncé also wrote, "Celebrate that you are an important individual who contributes to our beautiful collective. Here's to a better and brighter 2021! Love, B."
Her New Year's Day video post on Instagram has now garnered almost two million views as of press time.
