Blip, The App For K-Pop Stans, Proudly Welcomes Apink!
Play M Entertainment's Apink, comprising of singers Kim Nam-joo, Na-Eun Son, Bo-mi Yoon, Cho-rong Park, Eun-ji Jung, Oh Ha-young and Hong Yoo-kyung, is now part of the artists roster in the new K-Pop fandom app named "Blip," just as they celebrate their tenth anniversary next year.
The app's company representatives chose Apink for various reasons. One of these is because they have considerable popularity in the country, with a strong fan base. Their official Instagram and YouTube accounts have one million followers each. It has been ten years since Apink debuted.
"Apink is already a long-lived idol with 10 years of experience in K-pop. They have achieved 50 wins in total by winning the first place in music broadcasting, even in the 10th year since their debut due to its solid fandom," Blip said in a statement.
Among all K-Pop groups, Apink is one with the highest number of solo concerts since February. They are the perfect choice as the K-Pop girl singing group has garnered 235 million views on YouTube this year. A percentage of these views are from South Korean fans, and the rest comes from viewers in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, and even in the United States.
Apink will join other K-Pop artists who are now affiliated with the platform. They include BLACKPINK, IU, TWICE, EXO, IZ*ONE, Kang Daniel, NCT, MONSTA X, Red Velvet, MAMAMOO, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, GOT7, Super Junior, aespa, Girls' Generation, ATEEZ, and so much more.
Blip is an app that gets fans closer to their favorite artists in the K-Pop industry. Through the app, the fandom can stay updated on the schedule of Apink, hear the latest news, and interact with each other through activities and more.
Music startup Space Oddity is the team behind Blip, and since it launched last June, it has received much support from the fans, even ranking first in the lifestyle category of Google Play.
