United States President Donald Trump has invited various House Republican lawmakers at the White House on Monday to discuss a plot that will block Congress from affirming the victory of President-elect Joe Biden.

U.S. President Trump has not conceded and is refusing to accept his loss in the recently held elections. He has been continuously posting his insights and developments in his ongoing electoral protest against the President-elect on social media.

He has been noting the elections are "rigged" in favor of President-elect Biden.

For instance, he recently wrote on his official Facebook page, "Big news coming out of Pennsylvania. Very big illegal ballot drop that cannot be accounted for. Rigged Election!"

He also posted on December 20th, saying the recent election was the "greatest" fraud in the history of the U.S.

President-elect Biden will be sworn into office on January 20th, but the incumbent president is not surrendering his campaign. President Trump is said to turn his attention to January 6th, the day when the Congress participates in the electoral vote count, which Biden won victoriously at 306-232.

In the law, members of Congress can use this event to object to the vote of the state, and this is seemingly what Trump is looking forward to. Representative Mo Brooks said he organized the Monday session with other House Republicans willing to challenge Biden's victory.

On the other hand, Senator John Thune, the number two Senate Republican, expressed his insights on this alleged plot to block president-elect Biden's win. He said it was "just not going anywhere," considering that the outcome is now predictable.

Trump is persistent with Congressional intervention in his favor. During the White House meeting on Monday, the president is very participating, and it is said to last for three hours despite being scheduled for only about an hour, Rep. Brooks said. The personal lawyer of Trump, Rudy Giuliani, was also in attendance. It could be recalled he also worked to promote false claims of voter fraud.
