2020 SBS Entertainment Awards Winners: 'Running Man', ASTRO Eun Woo, Jessi, Oh Min Seok And More Received Trophies

Some of the biggest names in the K-Pop industry have gathered for the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards, which is being held at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul City.

Fans rejoiced when ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo received the Rookie of the Year Award, alongside songstress Jessi and actor Oh Min Seok. In his acceptance speech, the "BLUE FAME" singer said that he is very much grateful to director Seo Jang Hoon, who encouraged him to pursue his passion in playing basketball. Eun Woo even thanked everyone he met and worked with lately, especially to his All the Butlers family, as he learned important life lessons from them, before vowing to further improve his craft.

Jessi, for her part, also thanked everyone who trusted and supported her through the years. Oh Min Seok of My Ugly Little Boy shared he did not expect to win the award but he remains grateful to all people who showed love and support to him.

South Korean Broadcaster Seo Jang Hoon received the Honorary Employee Award while Tak Jae Hoon took home the New Stealer Award. Veteran actor Jeong Seok Yong and Lee Sang Hee got the Best Couple Award.

Running Man, which is among the most popular South Korean television programs today, won the Golden Content Award. During the acceptance speech, comedian Ji Suk Jin said he cannot believe that the show has been on air for almost 10 years already. He, then, thanked the entire production team for all the hard work through the years and, of course, the avid followers for their unwavering support of the show.

SBS national contributors Lee Bong Won, Lee Seong Mi, and Lee Kyung Sil received the Legend Special Awards. In his acceptance speech, Kyung Sil joked she never thought that he would receive such an award. The comedian shared she is sad over the fact that not all entertainers are given a chance to shine and she hopes that SBS would become a happy place for the old and new comedians.

Plaza of Taste and Trossine received the Excellent Program Awards. Television show Burning Youth got an excellence award for the reality series category. Below is the full list of winners:
