Kim Min Jung joins GOT7's Jinyoung and Ji Sung for an upcoming drama.

On December 4, the agency of Kim Min Jung confirmed that the actress is in talks for a role in the upcoming drama Devil Judge. The agency representative stated that the tvN's drama Devil Judge offered her for the female lead.

The mission

Devil Judge is a drama where the head judge turns the court into a reality show to punish the evil. The chase of the drama is another judge's attempt to reveal the head judge's true identity.

Ji Sung is in talks to take the role of Kang Yo Han, the titular "devil judge". Jinyoung will be taking the part of judge Kim Ga On. Park Gyu Young will appear in the drama as detective Yoo Soo Hyun.

The ambitous Jung Sun Ah

The production offered Kim Min Jung the role of the ambitious and uncompromising Jung Sun Ah. She is the only capable person of making Kang Yo Han break a sweat. Even though she was born into an impoverished family, she successfully climbs society's ladder with her brilliant mind, charm, and thirst for success and power.

The reunion

If Kim Min Jung and Ji Sung will accept the role offers, they will be reuniting for the first time in 12 years. The two actors starred in the drama of MBC New Heart back in 2007. New Heart is a drama about heart surgeons working in the thoracic surgery department in the fictional Kwanghee University Hospital.

Ji Sung plays the role of Lee Eung Sung, who graduated from a medical school in the province. He applied for a residency program in the hospital with his hopes to become a great doctor. Nam Hye Suk (Kim Min Jung) graduated at the top in her medical school. She is the first person to achieve perfect scores in school.
