The Walt Disney Co. is honoring the late Chadwick Boseman by releasing new opening credits to "Black Panther" precisely on the actor's 44th birthday, The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop.

It was the actor's 44th birthday on November 29th, and Disney+ and his co-actors aimed at giving him a special tribute on this important occasion in his life.

Marvel Studios posted the clip on their official Twitter account, and captioned the post "Long live the King." They also featured the hashtag #WakandaForever, featuring the home of the superhero in the comics.

Right from the start of the video to the end, Black Panther was the highlight. It was styled as a montage of Boseman's reprise as King T'Challa, the alter-ego of Black Panther. Even the logo of Marvel Studios was in purple.

Bob Iger, the chairman of Disney, issued a statement. He said, "To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts."

His co-stars also remembered Chadwick Boseman on his birthday. Mark Ruffalo who portrayed The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, offered his a shoutout.

He wrote on Instagram, "Thinking of your passion, love, and your light today, @ChadwickBoseman. Happy Birthday. Wishing we could time travel back to this moment."

With this, Mark Ruffalo posted a throwback video of the cast and the production team singing "Happy Birthday" during the time the "Black Panther" actor was still alive.

Chadwick Boseman yielded to cancer on August 28th, and never spoke publicly about his disease. His passing surprised millions of fans worldwide, his co-stars, and the entertainment industry.

He was also known for his roles in "Get On Up," "Avengers: Infinity War," "Marshall," "Spider-man: Homecoming," "9 Kisses," and so much more.
